We just took a twelve day road trip, and since I had a captive audience, I chose to listen to this as we traveled across Kansas. The whole family was riveted, from my husband and teenage sons down to my 6 & 9 year old daughters. They said they wish there would be a new movie made of the entire book. After we finished this one, we immediately listened to The Marvelous Land of Oz. The reader of this book does a good job.day road trip, and since I had a captive audience, I chose to listen to this as we traveled across Kansas.
