Reviewer: dg - December 14, 2018 I thought the whole thing was excellent: book and reader. |
Reviewer: ..... - May 23, 2018 Subject: Captivating book!!! I enjoyed reading this book! I couldn't put it down once I started reading for it kept me in such suspense!!! I definitely recommend all Baroness Orczy's books! I've loved every book of hers I've read.. |
Reviewer: Calvin Dean - November 25, 2013 Subject: Exceptional Narration I love historical fiction set during the late 1700's: Scarlett Pimpernel, Les Mis, Tale of Two Cities, so it pains me to say that the Elusive Pimpernel is heavy on atmosphere (to a fault) and repetitive. While Karen Savage's read is exceptional, the story is a slight disappointment. The first chapters will have you hooked, but the middle could have benefited from a good editor. If not for Miss Savage's read, I may have abandoned this audiobook. |
