Auflage des Spamer Verlages Leipzig von 1905. Im Hörbuch nicht enthalten sind die Vorwörter und die Anmerkungen zu den einzelnen Kapiteln mit Worterklärungen und geschichtlichen Hintergründen zu den einzelnen Personen insbesondere Hartfest selbst, der bei Tacitus mit dem Namen Ariovist geführt wird.
