Ensimmäisen kerran julkaissut Kustannusosakeyhtiö Otava 1903.

Eläintieteen dosentti Helsingin yliopistossa, tohtori Olli Hart, astui pitkin Aleksanterinkatua. Tämä maaliskuun loppupuoli oli varmaan vuoden hermostuttavin aika. Päivä paistoi, lumi suli ja kevään henki tunki kaikkialle.
