I thoroughly enjoyed reading X Y Z - A Detective Story by Anna Katharine Green. The book follows a gripping mystery involving the disappearance of a young woman and the efforts of detective Ebenezer Gryce to solve the case. The plot twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, and the character development was well done. Green's writing style is engaging and her attention to detail helps create a vivid picture of the setting and characters. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery novel.
