Reviewer: barryd - February 15, 2016 Subject: Interesting Introduction to Bahai Faith These are brief talks give in 1912 by the son of the founder of the Bahai faith. The talks reveal that Bahai tries to integrate the best of all religions. Truth is the supreme goal, so prejudice, ill-treatment of women, superstition and mindless conformity to ceremony are to be deplored. Very interesting collection. Hear Chapter 24 for a summary of principles of the faith. |
Reviewer: barryd - February 6, 2016 Subject: Good intro to the Bahai faith These are brief talks from 1912 by the eldest son of the founder of the Bahai faith. Chapter 24 highlights the 11 principles of the faith. Bahai is presented as a faith that finds the best in all other religions. The search for truth is the first principle and leads to a rejection of prejudice and superstition. Very refreshing message and makes me want to learn more. |
