Vi en la existencia de los judíos convertidos de Mallorca, de los llamados chuetas , una novela futura. En mis tiempos de agitador político, allá por el año 1902, los republicanos de Mallorca me invitaron a un mitin de propaganda de nuestras doctrinas que se celebró en la plaza de Toros de Palma.

Después de esta reunión popular, los otros diputados republicanos que habían hablado en ella se volvieron a la Península.
