Estos Jesuitas notaron muchos errores en la descripcion que hizo Anson de aquellos parages, y negaron que desaguase en la bahia un gran rio, de que hacia mencion este viagero. Hasta en la latitud hallaron inexactos sus cálculos, cuya rectificacion prevaleció en los nuevos derroteros.
