First this is a great book. I tthought it was well done. Second I dont know what's the fuss about audio because these people with the accents tried at least. Plus I dont think it's nice to critize people who dont speak english well.

Loved all the stories, but the person reading "The Lost Special" needs to slow her reading down. The reading was done so quickly that I found it annoying and could not finish listening.

I agree with Louise. I could not agree with Jang about ninth story because I could hardly understand the narrator. Her accent was strong, and she was not a goood reader, hesitating a few times. also found The Lost Special hard to listen to - another female, whose diction was bad, she was running words into one another, and ounded like the old actresses from the 20's and 30's. She also spoke very fast - I slowed it down from 1 to 0.8. In the end, I could not listen to the end of either f thes wo. It wwas spoilt for me. S I don't know how those stories ended up.I would not pay for either of those two!

The ninth story (The Man With The Watches) was very good. I enjoyed it a lot.

The stories are clever and witty but some narrators need to learn that reading is a pleasure, not a chore to be finished as soon as possible, however the "Brazilian cat" was excellent.

I enjoyed this book. Not as good as his later works but still good to listen too.
