Reviewer: Phil I - May 30, 2016 Well worth the time fascinating man |
Reviewer: Matt W - November 7, 2015 Subject: Great book, terribly read I got through the first 4 chapters, but in chapter 5, the reader's enunciation is incomprehensible. |
Reviewer: Chris Isom - October 31, 2014 I'm really glad I listened to this. Some of the chapters failed to interest me but some are treasures. I loved his life ranching in the west, the parts about his youth. He was a man of many accomplishments and I felt I was edified, enlightened, and entertained. |
Reviewer: Mike - September 30, 2013 Subject: Reading of Book This book needs some help; it is not the book but the persons reading and the recording quality. Certain persons who are doing the reading are not easily to understand and their pronunciation of words in Chapter 7 are off the mark (dysentery, adjutant) these are 2 of the many examples. There are also earlier chapters that I had to skip because the recording skips too much to listen too. Just letting you know, I think it could be done better. |
