Reviewer: JCWilk - May 14, 2017 Subject: Deep Wisdom, richly imagined Richly imaginative and deeply metaphorical. The story clearly manifests some unseen truths in a concrete and specific situation. One of my favorites by George MacDonald. |
Reviewer: Sally - March 6, 2014 Subject: The Wise Woman This is a sweet and very instructive story with the initial appearance of a child's tale but upon reflection a valued lesson for anyone. The type of fable which is sorely wanting today. Reminiscent of Pilgrims Progress is draws the reader to new heights of moral striving. It is a four star book. |
